Team OG Sack Inaugural Ride

Our primary goal in starting OG Sack was to create a versatile/sturdy bag that compliments an active lifestyle, so people can better enjoy whatever it is they’re doing. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I started losing touch with these values in my own personal life.

(Insert Lloyd & Harry from Dumb and Dumber) for “T…t…t-heh…t…” first “An..u..el”, “The” first  annual Team OG Sack Ride. A few of my good friends & I decided to test our wills on the Triple Bypass.  It’s a 120 mile ride from Evergreen, CO to Avon, CO with over 10,000 feet of climbing. When we all signed up for the ride, I viewed it as a slight nuisance (training after work, foregoing certain indulgences days before the race, giving up an entire Saturday to surround myself with people in ill fitted spandex, etc); so when my alarm went off at 4:30 am, I wondered why in the world am I doing this on my day off, I could be sleeping in, followed by a cup of coffee, relaxing in the park, capped off with an afternoon bbq…no fuss, no muss.

Pedro & Mason, the two brave souls from Team OG Sack doing the ride with me, showed up at my place at 5 am on the dot; which was impressive considering the time of day. As soon as I got in the car, we joked around about old times and I started feeling better about my decision to ride for 8 hours up several mountain passes.
